Our Origin Story
It all started with our CEO and our original two co-founders Harry and Jason that had a friend who was a basketball player but had to give up his love for basketball due to a chronic ankle injury. This made the three of us see how ankle injuries could really impact other people's life, and even stop them from chasing their own dreams.
After some research, we were shocked to find that there are over 9 million ankle injuries worldwide each year with up to 70% of patients potentially developing chronic dysfunction due to improper rehabilitation. This data made us realize there was a huge room for improvement in the field of ankle rehabilitation, and there are many people in need.
With that thought in mind we found two more members who were experts in creating models and engineering. With the five of us, we are determined to create a new technology that could change the horizon of the industry.
We thought of how AI has been so widely used now that we could create an integrated system that uses AI to guide our patients through an interesting rehabilitation process, that focuses on efficiency and precision. This was how Anklenova was born.
Today, we still continue on the journey of developing our product, hoping for a better future for the entire medical field.
